In a major breakthrough, police in Amarpur subdivision acted swiftly on a tip-off and arrested two individuals, Shailo Reang and Galkuram Reang, at Rangkang Chaumuhuni near Natun Bazar. The duo was found in possession of 15.40 grams of brown sugar, a banned and highly addictive narcotic substance.
The operation took place on December 28, 2024, following a credible intelligence input. The suspects were intercepted while traveling on a Scooty. Upon search, the contraband was seized, and the vehicle was taken into custody.
