In a significant reshuffle of Andhra Pradesh Police leadership, Bapatla Superintendent of Police (SP) Vakul Jindal has been transferred and appointed as the new SP of Vizianagaram district, replacing M. Deepika. Deepika, who previously held the position of SP in Vizianagaram, has now been posted as the new SP of Anakapalli, taking over from K.V. Murali Krishna, who has also been transferred.
This reshuffle is part of a broader administrative move aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the state’s police departments and ensuring better management of law and order across various districts. By moving experienced officers to new districts, the Andhra Pradesh government is aiming to bring fresh leadership and a renewed approach to tackling challenges in policing.
Vakul Jindal’s new assignment as SP of Vizianagaram is expected to leverage his previous experience in Bapatla, where he had been effective in maintaining law and order. M. Deepika’s appointment as Anakapalli SP is also seen as a strategic decision to address the district’s specific challenges, including managing the growth and security concerns of its urban and rural areas. Similarly, K.V. Murali Krishna’s transfer indicates the ongoing efforts of the Andhra Pradesh government to maintain dynamism and flexibility within its police force, ensuring that leadership roles are optimized for public safety.
