The body of an unidentified woman was discovered floating in Dammaiguda Lake in Hyderabad’s Jawaharnagar area on Friday. Local residents alerted authorities after spotting the body in the morning. The Jawaharnagar police, along with the assistance of swimmers, retrieved the body from the lake.
The deceased woman is believed to be middle-aged. The cause of death remains unknown at this stage. The body has been sent to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death and to aid in identifying the deceased.
The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. They are examining all possibilities, including accidental drowning, suicide, or foul play.
