New Delhi: Tragedy struck the national capital as a massive car explosion near Red Fort killed at least nine people and injured over 30 on Monday evening. Agencies have released the first image of the alleged mastermind, Dr. Mohammad Umar, a faculty member at Al-Falah Medical College. Investigations reveal that Umar was driving the Hyundai i20 loaded with explosives, which was deliberately detonated near Gate No.1 of the Red Fort Metro Station. Authorities suspect a terror link, identifying the incident as a suicide attack possibly connected to the Faridabad module, recently busted by the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
