మహిళల అత్యవసర రక్షణ కోసం రూపొందించబడిన ‘దిశ యాప్’ (Disha App) ఆపదలో ఉన్నవారికి కొండంత అండగా నిలుస్తోంది. ఒంటరిగా ప్రయాణించేటప్పుడు లేదా ఏదైనా ప్రమాదాన్ని శంకించినప్పుడు మహిళలు ఈ యాప్‌ను ఆశ్రయించవచ్చు.

ఇందులోని ప్రత్యేకమైన ‘SOS’ బటన్‌ను నొక్కడం ద్వారా లేదా ఫోన్‌ను గట్టిగా ఊపడం (Shake) ద్వారా తక్షణమే స్థానిక పోలీస్ కంట్రోల్ రూమ్‌కు బాధితుల లైవ్ లొకేషన్ సమాచారం అందుతుంది. కేవలం ఐదు నుండి పది నిమిషాల వ్యవధిలోనే పోలీసులు సంఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకుని రక్షణ కల్పిస్తారు. సాంకేతికతను మహిళల భద్రతకు ఆయుధంగా మార్చిన ఈ యాప్, నేడు ప్రతి మహిళా మొబైల్‌లో ఉండాల్సిన ఒక రక్షణ కవచం.
