ఎన్నికలలో జరిగిన “ఓట్ చోరీ” నిజం ఇప్పుడు అందరికీ తెలిసిపోయిందని కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు అన్నారు. “ఈ పోరాటం కేవలం రాజకీయ పోరాటం కాదు. ఇది రాజ్యాంగాన్ని కాపాడటానికి చేసే పోరాటం. ప్రతి ఒక్కరికి ఒక ఓటు అనే ప్రాథమిక సూత్రాన్ని నిలబెట్టడానికి, నిజాయితీగల ఓటర్ల జాబితా కోసం మేము పోరాడుతున్నాం. ఎన్నికల అక్రమాలపై పోరాటాన్ని ఆపబోము” అని వారు స్పష్టం చేశారు.
