🌟ఎన్నికల కమిషన్ తప్పిదాలను ఎత్తిచూపుతూ కాంగ్రెస్ ఎంపీలు పార్లమెంట్ వెలుపల వినూత్నంగా నిరసన తెలిపారు. భారతదేశంలో మొట్టమొదటిసారిగా ఓటు హక్కు నమోదు చేసుకున్న మహిళ మితాదేవిని స్ఫూర్తిగా తీసుకుని, ఆమె బొమ్మతో కూడిన టీ-షర్టులను ధరించి నిరసన ప్రదర్శన నిర్వహించారు.
124 సంవత్సరాల వయసున్న మితాదేవిని గుర్తుచేస్తూ, కాంగ్రెస్ ఎంపీలు తమ టీ-షర్టులపై “124 నాటౌట్” అనే నినాదాన్ని ముద్రించుకున్నారు. ఎన్నికల కమిషన్ లోపభూయిష్టమైన కార్యకలాపాలను, ఓటర్ల జాబితాలో జరుగుతున్న పొరపాట్లను ప్రజల దృష్టికి తీసుకురావాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ఈ ప్రదర్శన చేపట్టారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఒక కాంగ్రెస్ ఎంపీ మాట్లాడుతూ, “భారతదేశ మొదటి ఓటరు అయిన మితాదేవి 124 సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులోనూ ఓటరుగా నమోదు చేసుకున్నారు. ఇది ప్రజాస్వామ్య వ్యవస్థపై ఆమెకున్న నమ్మకానికి నిదర్శనం. అయితే, ప్రస్తుతం ఓటర్ల జాబితాలో జరుగుతున్న తప్పులు, ఓట్ల తొలగింపు వంటి చర్యలు ప్రజాస్వామ్య మూలాలనే దెబ్బతీస్తున్నాయి. ఎన్నికల కమిషన్ ఈ తప్పిదాలను సరిదిద్దాలని మా ప్రదర్శన ద్వారా కోరుతున్నాం” అని అన్నారు.
పార్లమెంటు సమావేశాల మధ్యలో కాంగ్రెస్ ఎంపీలు ఈ ప్రదర్శన చేయడం చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారింది. ఓటర్ల జాబితాలో పేరు ఉన్నా ఓటు వేయలేని పరిస్థితులు, అర్హత ఉన్న ఓటర్ల పేర్లు తొలగించడం వంటి సమస్యలపై కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ చాలా కాలంగా గళం విప్పుతోంది. ఈ వినూత్న నిరసన ద్వారా ఆ సమస్యను మరింత బలంగా ప్రజల్లోకి తీసుకెళ్లాలని కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నట్లు స్పష్టమవుతోంది.
ఈ ప్రదర్శనపై అధికార పార్టీ నుండి ఇంకా ఎటువంటి స్పందన రాలేదు. అయితే, ఈ అంశం పార్లమెంటుతో పాటు బయట కూడా తీవ్ర చర్చకు దారితీసే అవకాశం ఉంది.
