In a significant development, senior advocate Nirmal K. Kotwal has withdrawn from the AAP-backed legal team representing Doda MLA Mehraj Malik, who is detained under the Public Safety Act (PSA).
Kotwal’s decision came after videos surfaced in which Malik allegedly praised terrorists Masood Azhar and Burhan Wani, while also claiming that Jammu & Kashmir is not part of India.
