At the 4th Ekalavya Model Residential School (EMRS) National Sports Festival held in Raurkela, Odisha, tribal students showcased outstanding performance. They won a total of 118 medals—36 gold, 42 silver, and 40 bronze.
In the Under-19 Kho-Kho category, they secured the gold medal, while boys’ and girls’ teams earned silver medals in volleyball. From November 11–15, 210 girls and 218 boys from EMRS schools across the state participated in 20 events.
Tribal Gurukul Society officials appreciated the students’ remarkable talent.
