Implementation of On-Street Parking Fees in Bengaluru |

The Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT) and the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) are set to implement a regulated on-street parking system in select high-traffic zones across Bengaluru. This initiative aims to streamline urban mobility and reduce traffic congestion in key commercial and residential hubs.

The new parking fee structure will be applicable in several areas, including the Central Business District (CBD), Hebbal, and Yelahanka. Under the new guidelines, the following rates will apply:

Four-Wheelers: ₹30 per hour, with daily passes available at ₹150 and monthly passes at ₹3,000.

Two-Wheelers: ₹15 per hour, with daily passes available at ₹75 and monthly passes at ₹1,500.

This measure is part of the city’s broader strategy to manage parking demand effectively and encourage the use of public transportation. Authorized personnel will manage the collection process through digital payment systems to ensure transparency and ease of access for commuters.
