Hyderabad: In a significant step towards strengthening welfare initiatives for police personnel, the Telangana Police Welfare Department has inaugurated a new fuel station at Begumpet.
The fuel station was formally inaugurated by Director General of Police (DGP) Shri Shivadhar Reddy, IPS, in the presence of Malkajgiri Commissioner of Police Shri Avinash Mohanty, IPS, and IGP (Provisions and Logistics, Sports) Shri Gajarao Bhupal.
Addressing the gathering, the DGP emphasized that the revenue generated from the fuel station will be utilized for the welfare and support of police personnel, reinforcing the department’s commitment to their well-being.
Officials stated that the petrol bunk has been established in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation Limited, ensuring the supply of high-quality fuel to customers.
The Commissioner of Police announced that the fuel station will be open to the general public starting April 1, 2026, making it accessible to both police personnel and citizens alike.
