In a shocking incident, a car carrying suspected ganja smugglers rammed into police officers at a toll plaza in Andhra Pradesh, injuring two constables. The incident occurred at the Krishnavaram toll plaza in Kirlampudi mandal, Kakinada district, during a routine vehicle check.

The police had stopped a car traveling from Visakhapatnam to Rajamahendravaram for inspection. While initially appearing to cooperate, the driver suddenly accelerated, striking two police constables who were standing nearby. The injured officers were immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment. The fleeing vehicle was later abandoned by the smugglers near Rajanagaram, and the driver was subsequently apprehended in Jeelugumilli, West Godavari district. Upon inspection, the abandoned car, bearing Uttar Pradesh registration plates, was found to contain 1 a significant quantity of ganja.
