Road rage incidents have become a growing concern in Kerala, particularly in urban areas with high traffic volumes. To tackle this issue, the Kerala Police have launched a series of initiatives to reduce aggressive driving and encourage safer driving behavior. This includes setting up awareness campaigns, distributing flyers, and using social media platforms to educate drivers about the consequences of road rage.

In addition to awareness, the Kerala Police have also increased patrolling on high-traffic roads and highways. Officers monitor incidents of road rage and intervene swiftly to prevent escalation. Special patrol teams are deployed during peak hours, particularly in cities like Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. The police are also working with local governments to introduce traffic calming measures, such as improved signage, speed bumps, and more pedestrian-friendly zones, reducing the likelihood of road rage incidents.
