Nagarkurnool (Telangana), March 17 – The search operation to rescue seven individuals trapped inside the partially collapsed SLBC (Srisailam Left Bank Canal) tunnel has entered its 24th day on Monday, with efforts continuing at an intensified pace.
Officials have identified ‘D1 and D2’ points as possible locations where human presence may be detected, and additional rescue personnel have been deployed to expedite operations.
Rescue teams, including personnel from South Central Railway, NDRF (National Disaster Response Force), SDRF (State Disaster Response Force), Singareni Collieries, and specialized rat miners, are actively engaged in the search using advanced equipment.
Authorities remain focused on accelerating the rescue efforts, with ongoing coordination between various agencies to ensure a successful outcome.
