The South Central Railway (SCR) has announced a change in the terminal station for the Shalimar-Hyderabad East Coast Express. Effective June 15, the train will now terminate at Charlapalli railway station instead of Hyderabad.
This move is part of SCR’s efforts to decongest major railway stations and improve passenger convenience. Charlapalli is being developed as a major terminal station to handle long-distance trains and reduce congestion at Secunderabad and Hyderabad railway stations.
Passengers traveling on the East Coast Express are advised to take note of the change and plan their journeys accordingly. The railway authorities are also working to enhance facilities at Charlapalli to ensure a smooth transition for commuters.
