In a significant step toward revamping the state’s healthcare system, the Andhra Pradesh government has introduced a detailed 30-point agenda aimed at expanding access to quality medical services and tackling the persistent shortage of healthcare personnel.

The initiative is being spearheaded by Health Minister Y. Satya Kumar Yadav, with Special Chief Secretary M.T. Krishna Babu tasked with ensuring effective implementation across all districts.

Key elements of the agenda include the recruitment of additional healthcare professionals, upgrading infrastructure at government hospitals, and enhancing service delivery in rural and underserved areas. The plan also focuses on improving patient care standards, boosting medical equipment availability, and strengthening primary health centers (PHCs) and community health centers (CHCs).

With this reform roadmap, the state aims to create a more resilient and inclusive healthcare ecosystem, ensuring timely and affordable care for all citizens.
