Hyderabad: In a breach of temple security protocols, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) vigilance team on Tuesday evening detained a YouTuber for illegally operating a drone near the Harinama Sankirtana Mandapam in Tirumala.
The individual was identified as Anshuman Tareja, a content creator from Rajasthan. TTD vigilance personnel promptly intercepted him and seized the drone he was flying in the restricted area.
The drone, along with the YouTuber, was handed over to the Tirumala police for further investigation. Authorities have reminded visitors and digital creators that flying drones in and around the temple premises is strictly prohibited, considering the spiritual sanctity and high-security nature of the region.
