Hyderabad: A 22-year-old youth tragically died by suicide in a hotel room at Ram Nagar in Amberpet during the early hours of Monday. Preliminary investigations suggest that personal distress related to a failed romantic relationship may have contributed to the incident.
The deceased has been identified as K Rajesh, a native of Narayanapet, who was residing in Hyderabad while working for a private company. Rajesh was also preparing for competitive exams alongside his job.
According to the police, Rajesh checked into the hotel room and later reportedly ended his life by hanging himself from the ceiling fan. When the hotel staff noticed unusual silence and lack of response from the room, they grew concerned and immediately alerted the authorities.
Responding swiftly, Amberpet police reached the location and forcibly opened the door, where they found Rajesh unresponsive. His body has since been shifted to Osmania General Hospital for a postmortem examination.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to understand the complete circumstances surrounding the incident.
