Bhopal is now eyeing a top spot in India’s cleanliness rankings with the introduction of the “Super Swachh League”, an elite group recognizing consistently high-performing cities. With recent upgrades in waste management, bio‑CNG & charcoal units, decentralized recycling centers, and public-driven campaigns like RRR on Wheels and Swachhta Samadhan Kendras, the city has already achieved Water Plus and ODF certifications, strengthening its position in the league.
