In a significant move towards transparency in school fee regulation, the Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC) of Gujarat has announced the launch of an online affidavit system starting August 2025. This system is aimed at streamlining the fee approval process for private schools across the state.
More than 11,000 private schools that already comply with FRC norms will now be able to submit their affidavits online, reducing paperwork and speeding up approvals. However, institutions charging higher-than-approved fees must still follow the detailed manual submission process.
Officials say this digital transition is part of a broader effort to ensure fair, accountable, and accessible education for students across Gujarat. The online system is expected to make the fee regulation process more efficient and transparent for both schools and parents.
