IMD Southwest Monsoon Withdraws Early in West Rajasthan |

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced the early withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from parts of west Rajasthan, including Sri Ganganagar, Nagaur, Jodhpur, and Barmer.

This marks the earliest retreat in a decade, occurring three days ahead of the usual September 17 date.

Typically, monsoon withdrawal completes by October 15, just before the winter monsoon begins in Peninsular India.
