Punjab’s Animal Husbandry Department has launched a clean-up, disinfection, and fogging drive in flood-hit areas to protect livestock.
The initiative covers 2.53 lakh animals across 713 villages and provides free Potassium Permanganate for water troughs and foot-dips to prevent foot-rot.
The drive also includes emergency vaccination, doorstep health monitoring, and veterinary care, ensuring proper protection and support for affected animals.
