Medchal : Malkajgiri. Today, under the leadership of Corporator Sravan in Malkajgiri Division, on the occasion of Telangana Liberation Day, activists, colony residents, and GHMC staff together garlanded the statue of the Iron Man of India, Shri Sardar Patel, at Sardar Patel Nagar and paid their tributes.
Later, they participated in the Telangana Liberation Day celebrations officially organized by the Central Government at Parade Grounds.
On this occasion, Sravan said that it was only because of the efforts of Sardar Patel that the tyrannical rule of the Razakars came to an end and the people of Telangana were able to breathe the air of freedom.
He stated that by calling it a “Telangana Betrayal Day,” some parties are insulting the sacrifices made.He also said that even today the people of Telangana are fighting to free themselves from internal Razakars.
