J&K High Court Holds Session at LoC |

In a historic move, the Jammu & Kashmir High Court held court proceedings from Gurez Valley, a remote region along the Line of Control (LoC) in Bandipora district.

Justice Sanjeev Kumar presided over the session, marking the first time the High Court has functioned from such a strategically sensitive area.

This initiative aims to bring justice closer to people living in far-flung border regions,
ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in the judicial process while highlighting the court’s commitment to serving every citizen.
