780 Families to Be Relocated from Mandal Dam Area |

The Jharkhand Cabinet has approved the relocation of seven villages, affecting 780 families,
from the submergence zone of the North Koel Project (Mandal Dam) and the core area of the Palamau Tiger Reserve.
The move aims to reduce human-wildlife conflict and support tiger conservation efforts.
Officials stated that the relocation plan will be implemented with proper rehabilitation measures,
ensuring the affected families receive adequate support during the transition.
