Key Suspect Held in Assam Rifles Convoy Attack |

Security forces have arrested Khomdram Ojit Singh, also known as Keilal, a member of the banned People’s Liberation Army (PLA), for his role in the September 19 ambush on an Assam Rifles convoy in Bishnupur, Manipur.

Singh, who was out on bail at the time of the attack, is accused of planning and executing the assault that left security forces on high alert. Authorities are intensifying operations against insurgent groups in the region to prevent further militant activities and restore peace in Manipur.
