The Central Government has approved a ₹436 crore elevated corridor project in Puducherry to reduce traffic congestion and improve urban mobility. The 3.877 km, four-lane corridor will connect Indira Gandhi Square to Rajiv Gandhi Square, including a 1.821 km elevated section.
Construction is scheduled to begin in December and is expected to be completed within 30 months. The project aims to streamline traffic flow, enhance connectivity, and provide a modern infrastructure boost for the city.
