Chennai is set to inaugurate a new 2-km steel flyover on September 28, built at a cost of ₹164.92 crore. The flyover connects South Usman Road with CIT Nagar, providing major relief to the traffic-heavy T Nagar area, one of the city’s busiest shopping and commercial hubs.
Designed to ease congestion and improve road connectivity, the project is expected to save commuters time, enhance mobility, and support smoother traffic management in the heart of Chennai.
