NCC Expansion: 4 HP Company Becomes Battalion |

The 4 HP NCC Company in Himachal Pradesh has been officially upgraded to a full battalion, now known as 4 HP Bn NCC Hamirpur. Cadet strength has increased from 2,000 to 3,520, covering 55 institutions across four districts.

The battalion has already made its mark, with 19 cadets shortlisted for the prestigious Republic Day pre-selection camp. This expansion strengthens NCC training and leadership opportunities for youth in the state, reinforcing discipline, civic responsibility, and national service awareness.
