In India, the priciest plate belongs to Venu Gopalakrishnan from Kerala, who spent over ₹45 lakh for the KL 07 DG 0007 plate on his Lamborghini Urus. Venu, a tech company CEO, is a luxury car aficionado and also owns the second most expensive number plate in the country.

The second costliest plate, ‘007’, belongs to Ahmedabad-based transporter Ashik Patel on his Toyota Fortuner, costing over ₹34 lakh. Inspired by James Bond, this plate makes his vehicle truly unique.
