The Karnataka government has announced a progressive decision to grant menstrual leave for women employees across government departments. As per the new rule, women can avail leave during their menstrual cycle by submitting a medical certificate as proof.
Officials said the initiative aims to support women’s health and well-being, ensuring comfort during menstrual discomfort. The policy is expected to be implemented soon across all government offices, educational institutions, and state-run organizations.
