The 7.5 km Metro corridor from MGBS to Chandrayangutta is currently under active construction. Ground-level work, including pillar marking and geotechnical studies, began in early 2025.
Land acquisition for nearly 1,100 properties is in its final stages, with 80% already complete as of February 2026. This project aims to connect the Old City directly to the Airport via a major interchange at Chandrayangutta.
