On January 6, 2025, the Sopore Police successfully arrested a drug peddler during a routine security check at Adipora Crossing. During the operation, law enforcement officers discovered and seized a significant amount of contraband substances, including narcotics, from the suspect’s possession. The peddler was taken into custody and is now facing charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).
