The Supreme Court has raised concerns over the delay in the Telangana Assembly Speaker’s decision regarding the disqualification case of BRS MLAs.
Questioning the prolonged inaction, Justice Gavai remarked, “As of today, how much time has passed since the first application? It appears to have been a year. Why has the Speaker’s office not set a deadline for resolving these petitions?”
The court’s observation highlights the growing impatience over the pending matter, emphasizing the need for a timely resolution.
