In a major success for the security forces, 33 Naxalites surrendered in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district, marking a significant step towards peace in the region.
Among them, 11 were active in the Badesatti village panchayat under the jurisdiction of Phulbagdi police station. Officials confirmed that with this development, Badesatti has now been declared a Naxal-free village panchayat.
The surrender reflects growing disillusionment within Naxal ranks and the positive impact of continued security efforts and development initiatives in affected regions.
