In a major anti-narcotics operation in Mizoram’s border region, Assam Rifles recovered methamphetamine tablets and heroin valued at over ₹113.36 crore, along with 7,000 detonators. The operation dealt a serious blow to smuggling networks across the India–Myanmar frontier. Authorities noted that the haul ranks among the largest seizures in the Northeast.
