The Delhi Police is the law enforcement agency responsible for maintaining law and order in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, India. It was established in 1861 and currently has over 80,000 personnel.
The Delhi Police is divided into 15 districts, each headed by a Deputy Commissioner of Police. The force is responsible for a wide range of duties including crime prevention, investigation, traffic control, and VIP security. The Delhi Police also operate a women’s helpline and have a dedicated team for dealing with cybercrime.
