Paddy procurement for the Kharif marketing year 2025 has officially started in Uttar Pradesh. Western UP regions, including Meerut, Agra, and parts of Lucknow, will commence procurement from October 1, 2025, continuing until January 31, 2026.
Eastern regions like Varanasi and Gorakhpur will start on November 1, 2025, and continue until February 28, 2026. Farmers are advised to participate early to ensure timely sale at MSP and take advantage of government procurement facilities.
