The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a senior IAS officer and two former bank officials in connection with the alleged embezzlement of more than ₹504 crore from Haryana government accounts. The investigation has brought renewed attention to financial accountability and the safeguarding of public funds.
