The Jharkhand Health Department is taking a giant leap toward modernization. Additional Chief Secretary Ajoy Kumar Singh announced that semi-automatic pathology machines in all state hospitals—from Ranchi to remote Community Health Centers—will be replaced with fully automatic machines.
Beyond faster and more accurate testing, the new system will send digital reports directly to patients’ WhatsApp. This tech-overhaul aims to eliminate manual errors and drastically reduce wait times for critical urine and blood diagnostics
