The third edition of the popular Nagaland Potato Festival 2026 took place at the Jakhama Village Ground, drawing large crowds of local farmers and visitors.
Celebrating the region’s rich agricultural heritage, the festival was formally inaugurated by Salhoutuonuo Kruse, Minister for Women Resource Development and Horticulture. The vibrant event showcased the massive agri-trade potential of potato cultivation within the state.
It provided local local farmers with an excellent platform to exhibit organic produce, share traditional farming techniques, and directly access wider economic markets.
