Multiple localized cloudbursts triggered sudden flash floods across the mountainous Kishtwar and Doda districts, heavily impacting Thathri, Drabshalla, and Sarthal. Heavy torrents washed thick mud and debris into local markets and residential areas, briefly disrupting daily life and halting traffic on the Batote-Doda-Kishtwar national highway.

Emergency response teams and heavy machinery worked overnight to clear the blockades and successfully restore connectivity. Fortunately, no human casualties were reported. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is closely supervising the situation, ordering the rapid restoration of disrupted water supply lines and village roads.
