The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced the further advance of the southwest monsoon into Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. According to a bulletin issued on June 14, the region is expected to experience light to moderate rain and thundershowers at isolated places over the next few days, including June 15.
The IMD notes that conditions remain favorable for the monsoon’s continued progress across the area, marking the official arrival of the rainy season and bringing much-needed relief from the summer heat.
