Rajasthan is currently grappling with severe weather extremes. While some regions continue to reel under scorching heatwaves, with temperatures soaring as high as 42.8°C, a potent western disturbance has brought much-needed relief to other areas through mild pre-monsoon showers and thunderstorms. However, this same weather system has also triggered volatile conditions.
Consequently, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has responded by issuing vital rain and dust storm alerts for over 20 districts, signaling widespread atmospheric instability and a complex climate situation across the desert state.
