A controversy has sparked student protests at a Gujarat college after both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals were found being prepared and served together in the canteen. Citing cultural beliefs and cross-contamination risks, a large student group is demanding complete physical separation of the food areas. One student emphasized that while they respect diverse dietary choices, intermingling the food is unhygienic and unacceptable. The college administration is currently holding emergency meetings to resolve the standoff.
