Delhi-NCR witnessed heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert across several areas. Wind speeds reaching up to 90 km/h caused traffic disruptions, waterlogging, and delays in daily commuting.
Residents experienced sudden weather changes after days of intense heat, bringing temporary relief but also safety concerns. Authorities have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel, stay updated on weather alerts, and remain cautious as more rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in the coming hours.
