Back in Delhi, a court struck down the gag order that had restrained journalists from reporting on Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) — calling it “not sustainable.”
Judge Ashish Aggarwal ruled that the journalists were not given a fair hearing, upholding the importance of press freedom and due process.
The case involved journalists Ravi Nair, Abir Dasgupta, Ayaskant Das, and Ayush Joshi, with the Editors Guild of India earlier flagging concerns over the order.
