In a major breakthrough for public safety, Chief Minister Lalduhoma announced a significant decline in visible, street-level drug abuse across Aizawl and various district headquarters. This positive shift is being credited to aggressive, highly coordinated operations spearheaded by local community leaders, the Young Mizo Association (YMA), regional churches, and dedicated local security committees.

By uniting grassroots enforcement with community vigilance, the state has managed to reclaim its public spaces. Moving forward, officials plan to sustain this collaborative momentum to tackle the deeper roots of narcotics trafficking across Mizoram.
