Delhi Police arrested 255 alleged drug traffickers during the 14th edition of Operation Kavach, a 48-hour anti-narcotics campaign carried out across the national capital. The large-scale operation involved coordinated raids at more than 4,000 locations, targeting drug suppliers, peddlers, and other individuals suspected of involvement in illegal narcotics activities.
The operation was launched to strengthen efforts against drug trafficking and curb the spread of narcotics in the city. Police officials stated that the crackdown reflects their commitment to dismantling drug networks and improving public safety. Authorities have also appealed to citizens to cooperate by reporting drug-related activities and supporting initiatives aimed at creating a drug-free society.
