Kerala continues to strengthen its cultural heritage conservation initiatives through the restoration of historic monuments, temples, mosques, churches, palaces, and traditional architecture. The state, in collaboration with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), the Kerala State Archaeology Department, local self-governments, and heritage organizations, is promoting preservation projects while encouraging responsible cultural tourism.

Digital documentation of heritage sites, museum modernization, conservation of ancient manuscripts, and support for traditional art forms such as Kathakali, Mohiniyattam, Theyyam, Koodiyattam, and Chakyar Koothu reflect Kerala’s commitment to safeguarding its rich cultural legacy for future generations.
